It is very rare to find a restaurant which disappoints in no way. A baby grand player piano at just the right volume was playing in the center of the restaurant. The downstairs dining room surrounds a clubby looking formal bar. This would be a great location for an upscale private corporate event, an intimate dinner for two, or even a proposal or special first date. I told my daughter though that if a young man ever takes her to a place like this she needs to tell me immediately because I need to meet him.

Our waiter was superior. He answered our questions on the menu making each item sound delicious. We started with the Crab Cubes - a very unique take on crab cakes - and don't make the mistake of expecting crab cakes. These are not crab cakes, they are Crab Cubes. They have their own unique taste which is better/different/like/unlike a traditional crab cake. Just try them. Your mouth will be happy - just don't expect a crab cake and don't judge them like a crab cake.

Although Dino's is a Steak and Claw house, we both had the Chilean Sea Bass. Quite simply among the best fish we have ever had, anyplace, on any coast, at any price. It sat on a rice pilaf which would have been delicious all on its own and was topped with avocado. An unusual and delicious presentation. He explained that they do not buy fish fillets or steaks but that they receive whole fish in the kitchen and prepare on site. The extra work definitely shows!

For desert we both had the Chocolate Espresso Semifreddo - indescribably good. This dessert does not melt in your mouth - it disappears. Not ice cream, not mousse, it seemingly vaporizes leaving you longing for the next bite. The combination of tastes was unlike anything I have enjoyed anyplace in the world.

Outstanding food and outstanding service in a classic-style restaurant standing two levels tall (I've dined on both floors and prefer being higher up, but that's just me). This is a great place to go for special occasions. The servers are so attentive and want to be sure that you're satisfied with all aspects of the meal. Each time I come here, the service gets better and better. Their steaks are wonderful, and the fish is superb as well. The piano is a fabulous touch to an inviting, friendly, relaxing atmosphere, and the location is terrific, too! No matter what you get, you will be pleased on all levels. It is slightly pricey, but the service, food, and atmosphere are more than worth it!

Pleasantly surprised! Escargot appetizer was flavorful, fresh and a reasonable portion. Crab cubes were interesting and would definitely order again. Four of us each enjoyed a different entrée. Sea bass was fresh as was salmon. Shrimp was flavorful and a good size portion. Filet was seasoned and cooked perfectly (medium rare).

I had an incredible meal at Dino's. Matter of fact it ranks up in my top 5 dinners ever. I had the scallops on the frizzled greens, (wow!) for my appetizer. Visiting Grapevine from the east coast I was not sure about getting scallops in Texas but they were great.

For my main course I ordered the lamb, and here is where it gets awesome. Anytime I order lamb it gets compared to an little restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean in Corfu Greece. The lamb chops at Dino's were the best I've had in the U.S.

Other details: No wait, great service, good house wine, beautiful piano music. If I get the chance to visit Grapevine again, Dino's is my first choice for dinner.

I had a house salad, which was great - not too much dressing, and lots of interesting flavors beyond the mixed greens. I also had the fillet, which is the most flavorsome fillet I have had in a while. It was perfectly cooked medium-rare, which is even more surprising considering I was with a group of 50 other people. Also on the plate were great mashed potatoes and assorted vegetables.

We went to Dino's Steak and Claws because my friend told us about the great food quality and service. We started with an appetizer of crab cues, the crab tasted amazing and unique. For our entrée we had sea bass and fillet of beef with lobster tail, again it was delicious. We are coming back for sure!!! I recommend this to everyone!!!!

Great place. One of the best steaks I've ever had, and THE best lobster bisque ever. Easily rivals top end steak houses like Bob's and for less money. Service was fantastic as well.
